All Fur Paws (previously One Lucky Mutt) opened June 25, 2012 and is owned and operated by Priscilla Messer and Whitney Thomas. The original store was located in Wildwood, MO. It was founded by Chris and Tracy Curran in 2005. The inspiration for One Lucky Mutt was their pup, Lucy, who began to have seizures at an early age. After being told that Lucy wouldn't live past the age of 3, the Currans began doing their own research and made the decision to take a "holistic" approach to Lucy's treatment as well as her and her siblings' way of life. This was the start of a seven-year journey of testing and learning about various natural treatments and diets. They lost their "one lucky mutt" at the age of 13 years, but she continues to be their inspiration. The store was relocated to Oklahoma City in 2012 by Carrie Puryear who bought the business after she decided to leave the corporate world for something she was more passionate about. The store was subsequently bought and renamed by Valerie and Tom Petty who, after 4 years, decided it was time to retire. Priscilla and Whitney bought the store in September 2019 and have brought their grooming skills to the business and are excited to make big changes.
